Pre-Order Details

The Lettered edition is limited to 26 copies, all of which carry rights to the next title in the Lyra’s Press series.

The Numbered edition is limited to 200 copies, the first 150 of which carry rights to the next title in the Lyra’s Press series. Copies numbered 151-200 do not carry rights to the next title.

The Standard edition is limited to 500 unnumbered copies in total, split into two colourways. There are no rights for the Standard edition.

Current rights holders for the Lettered and Numbered editions will be given the opportunity to purchase their matching designations.

The rights holder emails will go out on Wednesday the 30th of October and customers will have until Sunday the 3rd of November to make their purchase.

If any of our Lettered holders decline this title, there will be a lottery for any available copies.

After the rights holder period has ended, all remaining copies of the Numbered edition will be available by lottery only. If you are successful, you will be notified which version (rights or non-rights) you have the opportunity to purchase before making a payment. There will be a minimum of 50 non-rights copies of the Numbered edition available via the lottery.

Any lotteries for the available Lettered and Numbered editions will open at midday GMT on Monday the 4th of November 2024 and will be accessible on the product pages in the shop. The lottery forms will be open on the product pages for 48 hours before we make the draw. If your name is selected, you will receive an email informing you how to make your purchase.

There will be 500 copies of the Standard edition available for sale. These books will be available by lottery. The lottery forms for this edition will also open at midday GMT on Monday the 4th of November. The lottery form will be open on the Standard edition product page for 48 hours before we make the draw. If your name is selected, you will receive an email in the week beginning Monday the 11th of November. Should you be successful, you will make your colour choice at the time of purchase.

We expect to finish the books late Summer 2025.

Delivery Details

• All books will be packed into custom made, double walled cartons and surrounded by thick foam on six sides to ensure safe delivery.

• The cost of shipping is calculated by the cost of the packaging, the time it takes to pack and book the deliveries as well as the delivery cost itself.

• Deliveries within the UK will be sent via a 48 hour courier service. Delivery times elsewhere in the world will vary depending on your location, but we would hope that the books will largely be delivered within a few days. All services will be fully trackable and you will be sent a confirmation of shipping along with a tracking number when your parcel is booked with the courier. If you have a preferred courier service then do let us know and we will try our best to use them.

• All international deliveries, including to the EU, now have full customs declarations. Any import taxes, customs duties or fees must be paid for by the recipient. Customs policies vary from country to country and you should contact your local customs office for more information. Customs clearance procedures may cause delays and extend our quoted delivery time estimates.
